One of the hang ups with recognition by the IOC is once you are recognized a whole new set of parameters come into play both politically and financially. In the USA the general perception today is foosball is a silly little game and in truth it really is except of course to us who take it as a serious form of competition. The upside is if ever the IOC recognizes foosball a certain validity will by definition no longer be a silly little game played in bars for fun and beer. Until then foosball will be the most unorganized, organized, unrecognized sport on earth and all the ITSF hype in the world has not changed or will change that, at least in the USA. _________________ Phil Kennedy~

The popularity of foosball is so low that that I have seen only one foosball table in my entire life, even though various manufacturers produce lines of foosball tables.
