The 2002 Texas 12 Challenge was held at Shooter's bar in Houston, Texas. Nearly 80 players from all over the U.S. came down to compete, making it one of the largest non-national events in recent history. Danny Hynes continued in his winning ways, having just won the 2001 World Championships in Houston a few months before.
