Huynh defends #1 rank against Stubbs, 4-3 (0 comments)
Davis Lee Huynh defended his #1 USAA World Ranking in dramatic fashion tonight in Chicago, needing all 7 sets to fend off #2 Billy Stubbs, 2-4, 4-0, 3-4, 4-3, 4-3, 2-4, 4-1. Stubbs actually outscored Huynh 248-241, and gained early set leads at 1-0 and 2-1. Huynh has now beaten both the #2 and #3 ranked players in a little over a month's span.
