Dust off your mallets Houston Air Hockey lovers... we're back!!
We are happy to announce that the Northwest Mall SRO sports bar will be the new home for Houston Air Hockey!! For those of you who have never been to SRO, you're in for a treat. This place is like Shooters on steroids. There are TV's everywhere.. . games, billiards, ping pong, darts, foosball. They have a gigantic bar and a full menu of grub too!!
The setup will be similar to Kicks. We'll have a nice Photon and a 90s model Blue Top - both set to 75 cents per game - to get the party started. The tables will be set up in an area sectioned off for Air Hockey... right next to a bar and 30-something televisions.
This SRO location is in the city limits -- you can't get any more centrally located -- so it is smoke-free inside! This is a huge plus for most Air Hockey players. This location also happens to be a regular hangout for the pro foosballers we see in Dallas and Vegas. They have 6 tables at this venue for regular weekly events as well as larger tournaments.
As soon as the tables are installed, we will be announcing upcoming events. Our schedule is not etched in stone yet, but all I can say is try to keep your SATURDAY EVENINGS open for the next few months. That will likely be our night until Football season begins.
