I'm pleased to announce that in less than 24 hours from announcement, the 2008 Road to Vegas Professional Air Hockey League roster was maxed out with 12 of Houston's top Air Hockey players! After overcoming a few logistical hurdles, we are now back on track and ready to kick off the first Air Hockey league in Houston in several years! Huge thanks to Jason Stevens, Brian Accrocco and Travis Luscombe for their help in organizing this event.

Please note, the location has changed! The league season will take place at Jason’s Game Room over a 7 week period leading up to the 2008 Las Vegas Nationals. The format will be a single round-robin, in which each player faces off against every other player one time. When all league matches are completed, we will compare each player’s record based on match wins, game wins and point differential to rank each player’s finish.
The league entry cost for each player is $40 and will include a commemorative League T-Shirt.

Jason’s Game Room

The private game room is located on the 2nd floor of the Capitol One Bank Building at the northwest corner of Gessner and Westheimer across the street from Hooters. You will need to call upon arrival to be let in the building as it is locked after hours and on the weekends.
Jason’s Game Room is equipped with two great Air Hockey tables set to free play as well as a pool table, an arcade game, music and seating for everyone.
I would like to stick to the following league schedule as much as possible to make things flow smoothly for everyone and give us a chance to hang out as a group again. However, I know we all have things that come up on occasion that prohibit you from playing at your scheduled times. That’s fine. We’ll have plenty of opportunity over the course of the next 7 weeks to make up any missed matches. Please, please, please contact your scheduled opponent if you know you will not be available to play at your scheduled time. It will be up to each of you to make up your matches and report the match scores to me. Makeup matches do not have to take place at Jason’s Game Room. You are free to play makeup matches at the location of your choice. There will still be one table available at Kicks for make ups.
Any player who misses a scheduled match without contacting the opposing player will be recorded as a forfeit and count as a loss on that player’s league record. I cannot settle disputes on make up locations, times, etc. If the two players cannot come to an agreement, then the player who could not attend the original match will receive the loss.
Keep in mind, all league matches will count toward your AHW-Mitic Rating… including forfeits.
