It was a great day for Air Hockey! We had some of the best players in Houston out at Kicks today for an intense end to a great year of Air Hockey. The format was a little different than everyone is used to, but it’s times like these when we have the freedom to try new things. The group Round Robin format works well for a tournament of this size as it guarantees each player 3 full sets of Air Hockey and it’s a great way to get in some great competitive play in a short amount of time.

Congratulations to everyone for their excellent play today and throughout the year. This has been a great year for Air Hockey as we have seen many great players pull their dusty old mallets out of the closet and put ‘em to good use.
To everyone who didn’t play in the TOC, there’s always next year. Use this as your motivation to get out once or twice a month and play some puck. You don’t have to be there every single week, but it makes a real difference if you just come out every once in a while. But remember, if you come out each week and play hard, you will get better and the chances are you’ll be in the 2008 Tournament of Champions!
Weekly events will start up again in January at Kicks. It will be a new day and a new time… so stay tuned for more information.
