That's awesome!

I'm in Chicago. I don't know any other players in your area - but if I find myself there, I'll be sure to stop in.

Congratulations on getting some air hockey action going in NoCal! There are a handful of veteran players in your area. Hopefully this will get them involved again. Give a shout out to Joe Cain, Dave Parmley, Davis Huyen, George Anderson, Dave Dworkin and Yuzo Wantanabe on here. They are all in your area.

Actually, I think Yuzo moved to Seattle recently - not 100% sure on that, but if not, he'd be up in SF. I'd like to try to get something going with the guys down south and also Colin Pollock up in San Mateo, but we're all geographically de-centralized lately and there aren't any solid public locations with good tables. I did just buy a dirt-cheap blue top, though, so maybe I can cajole someone around the peninsula to take it in and provide us with a new base of operations.

I checked it out today... the 2 tables seem to be in decent condition, tho the one by the window could use its surface cleaned in one corner.. but that could have been something recent..nothing a little rubbing alcohol and "elbow grease" can't cure... Good lighting and good space.. and I think it was only .50 cents a game..

Excellent news. I love it when a lost colony of AH players finds the Mother Ship. Go to them. But be ready with your mallets.

Late Sunday night is not necessarily the best time-frame for me right now, but I may be able to make it out every few weeks or once a month. This Sunday is possible, but I can't make any promises just yet. The second Sunday in April is probably better for me.

So update on the weekly. I guess we just stopped it because I guess some peoples vaginas are just too big and can't handle jokes
But that's neither here nor there. Anyways if there is anyone who wants to play a pickup game just message me(however you do that lols ) and
we can play one day. Thanks and lets see what's good.

Was at Cuetopia tonight, lady working said there has been no air hockey action in months. Did the group move to a different location?

Anyone in the San Mateo area want to get together for a game maybe start a regular / semi-regular night?

Cory - good point. If it hasn't been updated already, I'll add it.

shaheenery - Sorry, I don't know what's been going on at Cuetopia since we got the update back in May that the group down there seemed to have experienced a bit of a hiccup with their regulars. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to go down there before those guys stopped, but Dave Parmley might know more than I do.

As for playing in San Mateo, there's at least one player who lives out there you should hook up with named Colin Pollock - he's a VERY solid player who will give you fits and help you learn a lot. You could also get in touch with Randal Leistikow, who is an entirely different player than Colin and will also give you fits! I used to be out that way, but now I work in San Francisco so my availability during the week/weekends is pretty impacted. But between those two, you should be able to get something off the ground and get in some good practice.
