Congratulations to Chris Green in defeating Chuck Forest in Dallas in a gruelling seven set match for World Ranking number 26. The game count was 18 to 13 which means the match featured blow outs by both players in turn. My reading of that is that one player would give an all out effort to win, and then lose energy and focus for the next set, until finally Chris powered over a fading Chuck, winning 8 games out of the final 9 games.
Chris etches his name in the history book of Dallas highest ranked leaders for the city. Names that go way back to George Ray, Ron Hubbard, Mike Pryor, Paul Marshall, Wil Upchurch, Forest, and now Green.
