The match will be played on May 1st at SRO at 4 pm.

Come out and see what antics Phil will employ to try to get #14. Also we definitely need some refs, since Phil goes over the line every other shot and takes about 11 seconds to shoot instead of 7. :)

See you next Sunday.............

This match is now set for May 21 at 2pm at SRO.
Someone please come ref since Phil and I have both been known to cross the middle line and we both charge like madmen. And Phil takes 29 seconds to shoot the puck instead of 7. :)

I am sure Phil and I can buy the ref a luch for his efforts. :)

Someone should build a 10 foot table for that match.

The match is on for today, Saturday, May 21, at 2 PM, at SRO in Houston, TX.

Phil A number 20 challenging Syed R. number 15 in the World.

Syed is no doubt playing the best that I have ever seen him play; has added new shots and an improved defense.

I am back in practice and will give it a go.

Syed and I had an intense match. I recognize the fact that he is playing the best in his career and earned the victory. The main factor was that his defense has improved, and try as I would, I could not break it down. Sure, I scored points, but the defense held, and did not fall to pieces, as I had expected with my various attacks. I won one set by one point in the seventh games, and so did Syed in the second set! We had some smack talk going on during the match, with aggressive jabs from time to time. We both went over the line several times, and were called by the referees. The seven second rule was no issue for either one of us. Both players held up well during the four and half hour ordeal. Thanks very much for the refs and the shadows:): Keith, Doug, Fernando.

Congrats to an improved Syed.

Thank you Phil!!! It was a fun match to be a part of. I really wanted to win since you have won the previous 2 matches we have played.

You are still a force to be reckoned with and hopefully this helped you tune up for Vegas.

Syed
