Ah....this is where life comes sorta full circle. This is where we get to talk about, and probably overhype our up and coming stars of the sport. Where they will start to feel some expectations and the weight of the AH world. These expectations have held a great number of players down, including me for a number of years. So, now it is my turn to introduce some candidates for future AH stardom and see how they can hold up. If they can remain oblivious to the chatter, and just focus on developing at their own rate, they will eventually shine.
Who do you think will have the biggest surprise showing at the Vegas WC?
Colin Cummings of Houston (top 24?) Randal L. of Colorado (top 20?) Dan Meyer of IL(does he break top 12?) Wil Upchurch(finals?) Donovan(top 16?) Brian A.(finals?) Nick G.(top 5?) Syed (top 8?)
Who else could make a surprise impact?

Good questions, Champ.
What surprises one person may not surprise another. So, let me ask: let's say if Mark Robbins makes the Top 8, would that likely make a Top Surprise? What if, Carolina and Mark both made the Top Ten? What if one of the remaining original Old Guard, which consisted of Jesse, Bob D., Robert H, Mark and Phil, made it to the Final Four, would that rock the ah world?

Carolina and Robbins are still formidable warriors with lots of grit. It would not surprise me if both of you made the top ten. You almost beat Ehab and Marino last year and Robbins is still keeping the unworthy out of the top 12. If either of you made the top 5, that would an exciting surprise for AH.

Hi Davis,
Not this time. Unfortunately, by the time the Vegas tournament dates were announced, Kelly had already purchased an airline ticket to Michigan to attend her niece's high school graduation that weekend, so I'll be here in Colorado taking care of the kids.
Hopefully I'll keep improving enough to lower by a few spots the finish you'd consider surprising for me at the next big tournament, Randal
