Since this was the first official match I've played, I sincerely appreciate Stuck accepting my challenge. As the scores show, the match was way closer than the final set count indicates. Stuck had me on the ropes early, going up 3-0 in the first set and 3-1 in the second, and then he came back from 1-3 to force a seventh game in the third.
I also want to thank Nizzi for his help preparing me for this match. The knowledge he shared and many practice games we played gave me the confidence I needed to take this first step toward being much more competitive.

Congratulations on your achievement here. To win your very first challenge match ever, and against a well experienced guy like John Stucky, is something to be celebrated. Looking forward to seeing you in action again.

Good job!!! That is a big win over such a veteran player. I know that in the past when i had to play Stucky it was a hard fight to get a win. To win 4-0 in a challange match shows that hard practice pays off... So who is your next victim

Yes, I can see that the match was very close, with Stucky in control early on. But the bottom line is that you won. And that is impressive, coming from behind on a fine lefthanded hard hitting veteran.
Respects to your big win!

Congrats Randal, beating Stucky is not easy. I played him a couple of times this week and he was playing well. Nizzi must have taught you well. I would have not picked you to win that match. I thought you might get a set or two but not beat him 4-0. Impressive.
