We'll be playing 11/21 at UIC.

I'm Eric Rood and, luckily, you're not.

John Song defeats Eric Rood for the #52 world ranking. This was an incredibly close match. Set 1 was won by John in a 7-6 game 7. Set two was won by Eric Rood. Set 3 was won by John in a 7-6 game 7. Set 4 was won by John... They played a best of 5 challenge set.

Very easily could have gone either way. Eric scored most of his points with his accurate cross. John's deceptive drifts and very aggressive defense gave him a slight edge. John's been working on his forehand attack, and got a bunch of lwu's to fall for him.

Eric normally has a blistering left wall under... but he just didn't have the accuracy, and couldn't establish what is normally his go-to shot. Either way, both played with intensity and they were very evenly matched.
