I just wanted to take a minute to recognize all of the hard work that went into putting together a terrific event. Never have I been to an Air Hockey Tournament that felt as professional and organized as this one. It was EXTREMELY important for us to really show our sponsors that we are worthy of their time and money. Without the wraps on the tables, the professional looking GoalGrinder program, the local advertising, all the way down to the little things like naming the different table areas after the sponsors so that they could hear their company's name over the speakers all day long, we would have looked like a bunch of bums in air hockey shirts that took advantage of an opportunity to take a company's money. The TAG team could have easily taken the sponsorship money provided and used it all to solely benefit the participants. Guess what, we would never see a corporate sponsor again. With the relationship we have now established with Zwack, hopefully they will talk to other companies and tell them how impressed they were and possibly get us even more sponsors in the future. We must realize that for these companies, this is an investment and we have to show them that is was a worth wild investment. I give the TAG team a lot of credit for making sure that our sponsors were very well represented during the tournament and if any future opportunities present themselves to air hockey it will be directly because of the way this tournament was managed. For a weekend you guys truly made us all feel like professional athletes and I greatly appreciate the time and effort that you all put into organizing the tournament.

I thoroughly agree. As a small part of the team brought in rather late in the game, I was still able to see all the hard work that was put into the whole process. There were some unexpected situations that arose and the team responded. To highlight some details, the venue looked great. Many kudos to Andrew for all the work his company provided. Banners, wraps, magazine etc. all looked great. The arrangement and overall set up (and breakdown) of the tables, lights, command center; Brian and his team got everything done. A thankless and less highlighted behind-the-scenes job that is crucial to the success. Thank you all for the sweat and hard work, everything was great. There are others that I am sure I am leaving out but I second what was mentioned already, you all did a great job and I am sure that the sponsors took notice. I think that the bar was raised again. Great job everyone involved. It goes without saying but I am looking forward to the next one already.

Sincerely - Jason Rios
