Phil plays Syed this Monday, July 5 at 6 PM at Donovan Court for Syed's World Ranking No 17 and Houston No 4.
Syed attempts to defend these rankings and adjust the Texas ranking by taking Phil's No. 8.
Their last match was a year ago with Phil winning 4 sets to 3 in a very close match.
Both players are in practice and good ah shape.

Phil wins 4 sets to 1.
It was a lot closer than the total set count.
Game count was 19-15 in Phil's favor.
First 4 sets went to the seventh game and Phil won 3 of them
That was the difference.
Great playing you Phil. Hope to see you across the table at Nationals.

Thank you, Syed, for the match. The competition was very even. At times in the first three sets I felt like your offense was unstoppable. This one truly could have gone either way.
