Consider scheduling the weekend of July 15-18 to be in Houston for the 2010 Zwack Air Hockey World Championships.
This sport and this tournament belong to you, the AH Player. It is your special niche. One that you, with your fellow ah lovers, have carved out of nothing into something good.
Once or twice a year the opportunity arises for all of us to meet and to compete. Sure it is for personal glory, but attending expresses our belief in AH as a sport. And this is something that we have been saying to others for many years.
Do not let other factors keep you away. Lack of practice, jobs, duties, and personality issues should not rob you of this chance to celebrate the joys of playing AH with your friends and rivals at the 2010 World Championship!
Mark Robbins and I have never missed attending a National or a World AH Tournament, and that goes back to Prehistoric times! There were times when we could have found "good" reasons not to show our face. But, this is AH. And AH needs our active participation. It is our sport. It is our special niche in this world.
When AH calls, who can say, "No."
Stop what you are doing this very moment and Register now for the 2010 Zwack Air Hockey World Championships.
