What a great victory for Colin and for Air Hockey today in Colorado!
I recall when Colin first started to play at SRO in Houston just a very few years ago. And today he defeated many top playes in Air Hockey before meeting Billy "The Machine" Stubbes in the finals, a many time world champion.
When it was over, the incredible fast pace machine gun attack of Colin gave Colin the victory. And his defense held Billy' systematic attack off. But what impressed me as I watched transfixed was Colin's ability to hit the puck and get the rebound time after time.
I don't recall ever seeing anyone hit so hard and fast AND ALSO gain back control of the puck for another round of machine gun firing.
But, this is only the Beginning. What heights will Colin take our sport to?
I don't know. But, I sure want to watch more of his Rise to Power!
What a great player with fine character and heart. And, truly, a testimony to his family one and all.
I have been in Air Hockey since the beginning, and I see something in Colin that can change the sport for the better, bringing more creativity and energy to it.
All Colin has to do is to continue to Play Air Hockey, and we will see great things.
