The annual Houston Tournament of Champions will be held Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Skybox at 1 pm. $10 entry fee. For those who are not familiar with this, we hold weekly handicapped tournaments in Houston. Every players that wins at least on in a fiscal year qualifies to play in the annual tournament of champions and compete to be the annual Grand Champion.
I will post the final list of qualifiers after this week's final weekly tournament of the year. To date we have 28 qualified participants.
If you are not qualified to play, you are more than welcome to come and hang out, help officiate, coach, and/or play some pickup games. The event will be very competitive this year.

| Correction. The entry fee for the TOC will be $15, not $10. All matches will be the best 3 games of 5 and handicapped as usual.

| Pete Lippincott won the tournament very impressively. After losing to me in the winner's bracket finals, he defeats Colin Cummings in the semi finals, all the while injuring his arm. He pushed through it and defeated me 7/6 in the 5th game (best 3 of 5) in set 1 and then went on to win set 2, 3-0 to win the event. Colin Cummings took 3rd, and Fernando Guillen took 4th. In total 21 players competed.
