Thanks Mike for the schedule. Yes, Chris and I will play downstairs about 5 PM that same Sunday.

Should be a great AH Trilogy.

Syed and I played a 45 game match which is only 4 short of the maximum possible in a challenge match. I hate that I lost because I felt like I played strong enough to win but Syed got on a roll where I felt like he was shutting down everything. The last set was a slugfest and even the final game swung back and forth. I won't want to play Syed again in a challenge match for awhile it is mentally draining. We both adjusted constantly to get an advantage. I had an extreme headache when I got home. Thanks Syed. Your a great competitor, friend and sport.

Colin and August did play. Colin's game keeps improving and he won 16 games to 3. Augusts game is built for power and speed and unfortunately for him, that style plays right into Colin's hands.

An incredible struggle between two great AH players.

AH is a tough, grim sport at such a high level of storm and stress. Both players will be flinching in their sleep tonight.

Good news is that there is more AH to come for both of these competitors.

Congrats to Colin for making a strong statement showing what it means to be a top ten elite player, winning 4 to 0.

Congratulations to Colin on a dominating performance!!!

After Mike's win over Brian a few weeks ago, I had my doubts if I would be able to beat Mike. But I did know the longer the match went it would favor me.

And this is exactly what happened. Mike won 3 out of the first 4 sets and I won the following 3. It was a battle. Each game and set was going back and forth.

On offense, the first 4 sets I was all over the place but after the 4th set I stuck to my LWU, LWO, Cross, and RWU shots. I knew the cut was open but I could not hit it consistently, but shot enough to keep Mike honest.
Mike also stuck to his RWO, CUT, and RWU shots, but he went away from the cross and LWU which he had shot well the first 4 sets.

On defense, I started seeing the cut and RWO a lot better in the latter stages of the match. Just enough to get the win.

It was a great match.

Until next time!!!!
