I just wanted to thank every one for taking the time to come out to Colorado and participate in the 2014 Air Hockey World Championship! I know that in order to participate, most of you had to sacrifice time, money, New Edition concerts (Dave Parmley) and more, and I greatly appreciate that all of you made those sacrifices to attend our event. I would again like to thank Brian and his team for everything that they did throughout the entire event. Colin, Austin, Adam, Marc, Justin (and his team), Pete, Jeorgia, Donovan, and Steven, you all were a tremendous help and the tournament wouldn't have run as smoothly as it did without the contributions from all of you. Thank you to Don James and Tim Weissman for running the commentary all weekend along with a little help from Mark Nizzi. A big thank you to John Stucky for providing/building the overhead lighting, running the charts, and helping with the setup and breakdown. You are the master of the charts and none of our tournaments would run nearly as smoothly without you filling out those brackets and match cards. Thank you to Joe Cain and Mike Rose for helping with the breakdown of the tables (thanks to Mike for helping with the setup as well,) It was amazing what we were able to do as a team in just an hour and 45 minutes. Having you guys there was a huge help and saved us a ton of time and effort. Thanks to everyone especially Doug Howard for taking the time to talk to spectators about the great sport of air hockey. Its a wonderful thing that we needed everyone to take on that responsibility because it means that we had a lot of people to talk to :) Thanks to Lazaro Garcia for coming up with the idea of having the temporary tattoos available for spectators and for donating them to the event. We still have some extra and we will continue to use what we have for future events! Thank you to everyone that volunteered to ref, especially Mark Robbins since you weren't even able to play but you still volunteered to ref when needed. I'm very sorry if I missed anyone but I greatly appreciate the contributions that each and every one of you made to make this event a success.
