Here we are, one more year to officially announce our national championship of air hockey.
It will be our 17th Championship, and the 11th since the adoption of the USAA rules, not bad for a small overseas community ;)

We expect it to be small in numbers, but big in emotion in both Pro and Amateur divisions.

I'll keep you updated in the next weeks, but, as of now, the contenders that have confirmed are the following:

PRO
Jorge Tomas, Sergio Lopez, Mauro Sturlese, Ruben Martin

AMATEUR
Manel Lopez, Alberto Gonzalez, Victor Martin

First bad news: Arnau Martin, one of the favorites to fight for the gold, is a confirmed absence, due to work schedule issues.

And as usual, if any of you happens to be in Barcelona those days between Christmas and New Year, will be very welcome to play with us.

The 2013 Catalan Championship is done, and we have Jorge Tomas crowned as a Champion.

We've had 7 local players and 1 guest: the Venezuelan-born Emilio Araujo from Galicia, Spain (he was the finalist in 2003 losing only to Pedro Otero).
