After some years of irregularity, we're back into normal competition!

This season 2013 we're having 3 bi-weekly leagues and 1 national championship.

The first of these leagues is called LLIGA APERTURA and has started today and will have 5 tournaments, until the 5th of May.

Lliga Apertura - Tournament 1/5

Pro Division:
1. Arnau Martin - 36 points
2. Ruben Martin - 25
3. Mauro Sturlese - 16

Amateur Division:
1. Micky Ubieto - 12*
2. Alberto Gonzalez - 11
3. Victor Martin - 9
3. Michiel Tromp - 9*
5. Manel Lopez - 8

(* +5 points bonus for first official tournament)

Some more info about this league:
We play a double-elim format, single game matchups (except the final, which is best-of-3). Pro and amateurs they all play in the same chart, with no seeding or handicaps at all.
The points are awarded with this scale: 4, 5, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64
Players eliminated in the first rounds (until 5th/6th) go to a bonus round where they play 2 more games. Each win is worth +3 points.
Players who take part in their first official tournament have a welcome bonus of +5, and, in case a player wins the tournament undefeated, he gets a perfect bonus of +6.
In the classification, only the 3 best tournaments (out of the total 5) count for each player.

Unfortunately most of the generation of players you met in 2003 is no longer playing, and we're trying hard to get new ones.

We're lucky to have Jorge Tomas with us, bringing his experience and his Caracas style of play.

Next tournament, March 24th.
