I do not believe the AHW email system for issuing challenges is working. I just saw that Pete L. challenged me a week ago but I did not get an email.

I do accept the challenge. Let me know when you are available to play.

Thx
Syed

Check your junk mail and make sure anything coming from airhockeyworld.com is whitelisted.
I am available most evenings when I do not have a gig.

I just saw Phil challenged me in October as well! I'm not avoiding. I just saw it. I'm willing to play in April after I play Brian.

No problem; I had forgotten. Perhaps in May after the Venezuelan Blitzkriek of Houston.

Best,

Phil

Pete

I already checked my junk mail. For some reason I am not getting challenges when made through AHW. Your challenge is not the first one.
I can play on any weeknight after 630 pm from March 18 thru March 29 or after I come back from the IL State.

Let me know what date so I can confirm with Donovan.

Thanks

Syed

For now until I can take a look at why it's not sending an email, if you're going to make a challenge, also please post something on the forums. I would be surprised if it's not related to do with the fact that we're using the email system a TON for paging for weeklies.

Paging for weeklies is not necessary at all. I'm sure you guys were just running tests before nationls last year. But the weeklies are too fast paced and moat people aren't looking at their phones. So if it frees up resources, by all means go ahead and disable.

We are only using this feature currently if Pete or Brian runs the weekly. Not sure that is the culprit for Syed not gettting an email. I think it just needs to be whitelisted on his end. I will look into another domain service Travis for the email load if you think it is too much for the server to handle. There are plenty of inexpensive ways to have our cake and eat it too.

Pete

As I had posted earlier, I am available March 18-29 after 630pm. Or after IL state. Lets set a date so I can plan accordingly.

Thank you

Don't spend time on that - I'm not going to have the free time to spend changing domain services. I've got bigger fish to fry than email notifications for paging and challenges.
