3 challenge matches are scheduled now for MARCH 23rd at Protable Sports Arena (Donovan's house)......
#91 Austin Baldwin is challenging #71 Connor Cummings. This is Connor's first challenge match. I don't know if Austin has played one, but it should be a good experience for both. They will play 3 of 5 sets. I'm excited because Connor has been stepping up to the table & practicing and excited ever since. Thanks Ed and Austin for setting it up.
#42 Andrew Flanigan is challenging #38 Colin Cummings. This should be a good match by two players that have much higher Ratings than their Rankings reflect. Both of these players are getting excited about future matches and events in 2013.
#23 Michael Cummings is challenging #12 Brian Accrocco. I want to prove to the air hockey world that my win over Brian in the Houston Open was no fluke! Brian wants to prepare for bigger matches coming up and the Illinois State tournament. I'm still going to kick his ass!

Connor that was a great match, and I hope we play again someday. That was a fight like no other on the air hockey table and it couldn't have been closer with it going into the final game of the final set of the match and the final score being as close as it was. Thank you Mr. Cummings and Dr. Phil Arnold for helping to ref for this match.

Do I enter the scores from my match against Connor or does someone else enter them?

The challenge match weekend for Colin, Connor and I ended with mixed reviews.
Connor and Austin played a head to head match that was as close as any match could have been coming down to the final game of the final set which Austin won 7-5. Both players played as well as I've seen either play especially as the match moved further along. They both got in a good rhythm making shots and trying different things throughout the match. Afterward Connor had the privelege of working with Dr. Phil Arnold on a number of new techniques. Connor was so happy after we got home that he checked the rating list in AirHockey World to see who he wanted to challenge next. Thanks for challenging him Austin.
I didn't get a chance to watch a lot of Colin and Andrew's match other than the final set. From what I gather from both players that they were working on new strategies and items to prepare for the future. The final set started out with Andrew winning the first two games, but then Colin ran off 4 straight to close out the match. Thanks Andrew for playing Colin.
Finally my match against Brian. Brian came out on fire and I truly saw what a level 6 plays like at full intensity and speed. It took me until the 3rd set to play at a level close to Brian's when I won 2 games in a row. I searched deep inside for answers before starting the 4th set and played probably the best I have ever played in winning that set. Unfortunately, I continue to be fat and out of shape and ran out of gas in the 5th set. Brian still played great and I hope he can continue that great play as he plays other challengers and then heads to Illinois to be one of the players carrying the Texas flag. Thanks to you Brian.
Final note - I will never schedule a challenge match where all 3 of us play on the same day. In theory it sounded good, but by the end of the night I was worn out and frustrated.

They weren't. The scores are at Donovan's and he is in Ohio. Soon.
