I looked on the "find a table" section of the website and came up with these locations in Houston to potentially host the WC.
I would not suggest hosting the WC in a location that has anything to do with the reality of arcade.
It does not support the energy and focus of AH greatness. It should be a place where the people there have respect for the game, and from my experience, it is the opposite with arcade settings.
These are only a few of the options.

We play at Speedy's now every Friday. It is good for weeklies; lots of young potential players.
Funny, seeing Fitzgerals. We tried it way back in the beginning of AH, got them to put a table in; but it was good only for a few weeks; just never caught on there for us or for them. Never went back. Now many years later, find out they may still have a table (that table still?)
Sky High looks like a trampoline place with a lot of youngsters jumping around.

No worries. We got it under control and will be announcing the revised location info for the 2013 World Championship very soon! Just dotting all our i's and such.

Yep! Online pre-registration will be available soon for both the Illinois State and the upcoming Houston WC. It's on my (admittedly rather lengthy) to-do list.
