UNAP TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS NEW POLICY:

Effective immediately and to continue in perpetuity, the player winning the tournament of champions will automatically qualify for the following year's TOC.

I am retroactively applying this to last year's winner, August Parra, who will now qualify for tonight's TOC based on the policy. The winner of tonight's tournament will qualify for next year.

The thought process is simple. The TOC is supposed to include everybody who won a handicap event in the greater Houston area in the calendar year where the tournament was run by UNAP Policies. (i.e. classifications and method consistent with USAA historical methods and AHW classifications). The TOC is run in the next calendar year, is handicap, run by UNAP policies, and uses AHW classifications. This has been a long oversight that has now been corrected.

I was updating my attendance chart and realized I had a couple of errors in my rank calculator. The TOC is ranked by the following method:

1) # Wins
2) # 2nds
3) # 3rds
4) # 4ths
5) Total points

Based on that, here are the 29 players who qualified ranked in order. Level means "Classification" and is not used in ranking for TOC. But it indicates the level at which the player will compete.

Rank....Player..............Level....#1st....#2nd....#3rd....#4th....Points
