We will try to play every sunday (saturday this week since today is january 6th, kings day) The puntuation system will be the same we used in the 90´s

Javier did not play last tourney, and in the first one he lost against marcelo and paulo. Our overall level? Probably Daniel, Javier, Marcelo and myself could make top 10 in a national tournament; Paulo gets 8th last year too. Anselmo, Dionisio, David play at another level (Expert) meanwhile Jairo is probably a strong pro.

A long airhockey day.
Last week finals: Javier beated Daniel 3-?
Then Javier and Marcelo played a challenge match to the best of 5 sets: javier won the first 2 sets, Marcelo tied 2-2 but lost the last set 4-0. Nice victory for Javier.

Today i defended my USAA #8 against Marcelo Garcia

The match was pretty close,sets 2 and 3 went to the last goal. In the 6th game of the 5th set, i were down 0-5 and came back to win the game and the set; it was probably the key of the match. Congrats to Marcelo, today he played a very solid airhockey and his defense is improving every day; with his master-level offense, he could be a big surprise in the next nationals.
After that, we played our weekly; just 4 players today, so we played 4 out of 7 all the tournament.

Today some of us meet with Paulo and Dionisio to talk about their recent trip to chicago (they arrived to caracas just yesterday) We watched some of the videos they bring here. Billy is playing REALLY well. His offensive is even better now than in the last nationals (IMO), but maybe its just because Paulo's defense was very weak in the whole challenge match. I asked them what they thing about my incoming match with billy: Paulo and Dionisio things that im able to beat him in a close match. It gave me a lot (more) of confidence.
Then we played some dobles sets as a practice for the next nationals.

| Today we will play a new tournament. I also will offer a "beat the eagle" contest: any player today can put 100 bs (15,87 U$D) and if he beats me in a single game he will receive 250 Bs (39,7 U$D) I hope i could play my best in this games to test my real skills playing under pressure.
