If you are interested in challenging for the Carter Cup, please message me. You need a 4-person team. I will post the format information soon.

Take care...

Tim

Tim,

We have located the cup and the team has all concurred that we would love to defend it. I think with the growing talent pool, there could be some very formidable teams out there. One that comes to mind would be Billy, Q, Dan and yourself. Another would be Mark Nizzi, Keith Fletcher, Davis Lee and Joe Cain.

With the recent threads that discuss the rich history of the Carter Cup, my hope is that four players will come together to challenge for the cup's great honor. Our team has always been open to all challengers...the biggest problem has been that no one has challenged for the Carter Cup as of late.

It's good to see the renewed interest around the Carter Cup and also to be assured that the current champs are more than willing and ready to play for its glory! We were all underdogs at one time...including Danny, Jose, Jimmy and myself but what makes air hockey special are those times when the underdogs become the pit bulls and devour their opponents on the table.

If there is a team out there that wants to add their name to this prestigious trophy, please step forward. We are ready to defend.

Best regards,

Ehab

That's great news Ehab. Since it has been over ten years since the last challenge, most of the active player base today has no clue about the CC. We have heard about the history of the cup. Now some detailed info about the format of the challenge would be helpful.

I don't have the cup but I'll see what I can do to get a hold of it.

Tim,

In the meantime can you post the format of the carter cup and the rules so players know what is needed to form a team?

Thanks.
Ehab

I found a couple of things through some Web searches on Google. Not sure of their accuracy/if things changes later than the date the snapshots were taken:

I'm planning to be in Texas in mid-late December and wouldn't mind playing a Carter Cup at some point during my visit.

Now I just need a team!
