I challenge Paulo for his #8 USAA rank and Javier for his #7 USAA rank. I expect we could play both challenges in the next 2 weeks, and hopefully we could ustream both in live.
I also challenge Ehab (#2), Tim (#3), Danny (#5), Brian (#10) and Jose (#13) if they are available to play meanwhile i will be in houston; im trying to arrange a challenge with Billy and, if we finally play, Billy´s challenge match will be the last one. Time i will stay in Houston depends only of the accomodation i could find (any invitation is welcome) I will go there between august 25th and september 30th, depending of billy's schedule, and i expect i could stay around 8-10 days in houston to play 6 challenge matches, no more. If one of the above players do not want or cant play, just post it here or via PM. I hope i could play all the challenges.

I do not intend to offend anyone here... just playing the role of the cynic.
Suppose Ehab, Tim, Danny, Brian, Jose & Billy actually were to dedicate time and energy preparing for this challenge and the challenger were to not show up (again) without warning? Does the USAA have any intention on preventing or at least discouraging this type of thing from happening? Is there any precedent for it?

Billy´s situaiton is very different; if we play, he will have a enough good reason to believe that i will be there.
Houstonians allways can decline the challenge if they believe there are enough good reasons for that; i will love play all them, but my target is the #1, and i will go even if i only have Billy´s match confirmed.
I dont feel offended, i can understand clearly what you are trying to explain, but i cant imagine how the USAA could discourage me from waste almost 1000$ in my air ticket to not show (you can always check via internet if an air plane ticket is bought or not) I believe nobody waste his money and time and finally dont show voluntarily.

i believe that pedro could beat everyone in houston. however there is one player in GA, one player in chicago, and one player in philadelphia that i believe he would lose to.

Houston remains the showcase of AH talent. With Ehab, Danny, Tim, Brian, Jose and Anthony, not to mention Albert, Travis, August, Syed, Evan.
Pedro or anyone would have to be as good as Billy to beat three or four of these greats a full match.

When we were at our top, my balance against Andy was 4-1 for me in world level tournaments; if he is in practice he have the potential to beat me, but i would feel favorite anyway. Don James? Are you serious? lol I never played against Mark and i only have a couple of videos from him, but i believe that his weak defense give me a big advantage. Billy could beat me right now; we just played at 99 nationals, 4-0 for me, but im not better now , meanwhile Billy is a LOT BETTER player than he was back in 99. Anyway, im not sure that the airhockey level growth all this years; Mark Robbins commented in other post that the airhockey level is always improving, could be a good chance to probe my theory, even when billy is playing currently the best airhockey i have ever seen from any american player (IMO)

If you think Nizzi has a weak defense, you could be in for a sorpresa grande.
