We moved the date of the IL State to May 12 in order to give traveling players more time to make arrangements. Goran Mitic was able to secure the banquet room at the BrunswickZone.

The 2012 Illinois State Air Hockey Championship is scheduled for Saturday, May 12th at 11:30am. The tournament will conclude Saturday evening.
Last year, the Illinois State featured players from 6 states: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Colorado and Texas. We had 28 total players, 4 World Champions, and 5 of the top 25 players in the world. This year's Illinois State will be an excellent warm up for the 2 national-level events that are happening soon.

Tournament registration will be available on site from 10:30am - 11:30am the day of the tournament.
Entry Fees:
$50 Master
$40 pro
$25 Expert
$15 Amateur
$10 Novice/Beginner/First time participant in USAA event
All entry fees will be paid out to the top 5 finishers:
1st: 40% - $500 guaranteed
2nd: 25%
3rd: 20%
4th: 10%
5th: 5%
The tournament format will be double elimination. Tournament matches will be 4-of-7 games. Early round matches may be 3-of-5 games; dependent upon turnout.
Free pizza and drinks for all participants.
