Fernando and I will be playing Wednesday, March 7 at 5PM at SRO. If you can come help ref a set or 2, we would both much appreciate it. If you want to come watch you are welcome.
Over 2 years ago, Fern played me in my first challenge match ever. Glad to be playing again.

I think I can come out and watch. Perhaps even ref a few sets. Sounds like it will be a good match! :) ~Pete

This is a tough one to call. I predict this is going to be a long match. It will probably go the distance and it's either player's to win. Good luck guys!

Two bright promising stars of the future engage in combat on the Table. The quick upbeat pace of Fernando's game versus more of a control set up tactical game of Justin. Generally, the history of ah shows that given enough time the faster paced game even in the hands of a fine player falls to the slower pace set up game--unless defense hurts the slower player. So, if this holds, Justin would win 4 sets to 1, 18 games to 10, as the faster game tires and the set up game hones in on defense. But, a great speed player like Robert Hernandez proved the other side of the coin can be true.

I saw Justin beat Jason. Justin's offense has improved and he has always had a steady defense. even with that I will have to go with experience and predict Fern 4-1.

In my short experience with both players they are both capable of beating each other. I'm going with whoever comes with the most "on goal" that evening. :)

I'm gonna go with Phil on this one. Justin has been playing really well lately and Fern was out of the game for a few months. I'm going to say 4-2.
