"Tim, Danny, Brain (A), Tim"
Not much value in this type of prediction. It's called making all chalk picks and is a waste of time.
Weissman vs. Cummings x2
No casino in the world would set a to win line on these matches . I'll set an over/under. 25 1/2 games total.
Prediction: I'll take the under
Haynes vs. Stubbs
I think the correct line on this match is somewhere between 2 to 1 and 3 to 2. I would set the handicapped line at Stubbs +1 set with positive juice (+120).
Prediction: I'll take Stubbs with the set and juice
Accrocco vs. Q
Tough to set a money line on this one with the last match being so dominate and recent. I think somewhere in the neighborhood of 7 to 1 is correct, but I'd put no more than a small flyer on Q at that number. The spread with this match is more interesting. I'm setting the line at Q +3 sets at (-135). Again, tough call here which means the line is probably right.
Prediction: I think Q gets at least a set and would bet him conservatively with the negative juice.

Thinking about predictions... as the ahw ratings are based on win expectancy probabilities, there should be a statistical formula to get the odds for any player taking part in a tournament given each player ratings.

Considering this is the first time I read this post, I feel better about my performance today against Tim. I've never played Tim outside of a couple of times in weeklies where I'm given 2 points. I did win 3 games and my 12 year old did get one, so we played a total of 28 games beating the over under set by Don.
As for Q vs Brian, I would have bet on Brian as he has been working real hard since being upset by Syed and he rolled today.
Finally, even though the title belt went back to Chicago today, Billy played great airhockey and is a great champion. It was a fun day for AH.

Well said, Mike. Great day with matches at all levels. Good memories etched for the future.
Respects and Recognitions for Billy Stubb's great victory over Danny, taking Number One World Ranking, with the last two sets being 8 to 0.

Those will be cleaned up. There needed to be an adjustment to the ratings.
