Great news! This is such a gigantic match: Number One and Number Two from different states colliding, that it is worth media attendtion in Houston. I would like to promote it, but it would need to be at SRO to get TV, etc.

I am open to playing at SRO in the evening if it's promoted, and if there are not distractions due to football and/or live music etc.

January 7th and 8th is wildcard weekend and the Houston Texans are division champs so they won't be playing. Unsure about the music scene at SRO, but that shouldn't be a big issue considering the new configuration has the tables in the opposite corner of the bar from the stage.

Mike:
Acutally the Texans are assured to be playing that weekend. They are slotted at the #3 seed and only 1 and 2 get a bye that weekend. At the moment they will be playing the Jets here at home. Whether it is Saturday or Sunday is to be determined later.
I think having the challenge match at SRO is a good idea, but they will be pretty busy. Along with the 2 NFL playoff games that Saturday and 2 NFL playoff games that Sunday, there is a COLLEGE BOWL game that Saturday afternoon.
But it is up to the two players to decide. Also, in my opinion none of those tables are good enough for a match this caliber. So a table would also have to be transported there.
