Come on out to SRO the weekend before the tournament if you are in town. There are tons of quality pucks floating around here. I know I've got a bag full of 'em. See you in July!!

People usually start arriving at 8pm to play some practice games. I'm not sure exactly how much the pucks cost, but I'd have to guess somewhere in the $10 to $15 range.

and the pucks mark (tableman) makes puts the dynamo pucks to shame... mallets as well. if you play anyone from the usaa, with RARE exception, they are using a mallet and puck made by mark robbins ... and that goes for all of the past (20 or so years???), present, and at least foreseeable future tournaments as well.
i also have a somewhat large stash of his mallets and pucks that i am saving for the creme of the crop of future generations, (which are not for sale) though i am ready to buy more. jsb

Oops! My mistake.
I haven't bought either one in a while, obviously... lol. I can attest that the pucks Mark Robbins brings are of high quality. I'll probably be buying a couple myself.

If you go to the home page (http://airhockeyworld.com/home.asp) a couple of days before the weekly tournament, you'll see a link under "Houston, TX" that says "Next Event: 7/9/2010". Clicking on that link will take you to the page where you can pre-register for the weekly. Since you guys are coming from so far away (!!), I wouldn't worry about pre-registration for the weekly too much... just make sure you're at SRO by 8:00-8:30PM and we'll get you on the list.

Well my pucks and mallets thank you for the compliment... but actually the current Dynamo puck is the same material as my reds and yellows and should play as well, that's why it's sanctioned. And my table mallets and yellow pucks WERE the Dynamo mallets/pucks for many years until the late 90's or so when they made their own molds.
And here's a preview of things to come: my red and yellow Lexans, table mallets, and flat mallets will soon be available online through recrooms.com, which is a division of Shelti. Not sure what the price will be, but most likely higher than what you can buy them for in person at a tournament.

yes ... mark sells (and makes) the best mallets too. even though the dynamo green may be the same material ... it is heavier (at least five to ten grams if i remember correctly from when i weighed them in chicago 8 or 9 years ago) and they play slower than mark's pucks.

I will sell off five or six new cream high tops for $30 each if anyone is interested. These are no longer made due to the material... which was noted in the original "Way of the Puck" movie... space age material used in warhead missles. REALLY! Get one before they are gone like the launching of the Space Shuttles.
This mallet is the finest like a freshly brewed cup of coffee from Columbia. If you endeavour to be a challenger for the world title, you need this mallet to discover what other champions have known for years. Don't let this opportunity slip away like the lost city of Atlantis and never see one offered again to buy. This is a short lived enterprise... when they are gone... they are gone.
Best to email me if you want some. (Did I miss any of the Shuttle names above?)

Earlier I stated I have some of these mallets. I found three more that I can sell. See me at this weekends tournament at SRO or email me privately (since I probably won't be checking the forums that much this weekend).
