|When I try to analzye Thomas' game, it gets me a little fuzzy. His unorthodox style can throw some players off. He'll hit from anywhere on the table, forehands, rebound shots. When he is able to read his opponents, he'll take advantage by stuffing them. One needs to stay disciplined against him, he's going to make shots that make you scratch your head a little, but if you don't get over it, you play right into his hands. He wants it to be a chaotic game of slop, which he will win because he excels at it.
I've found that behind the madness, there is always a method. Like everyone else, he has his tendencies.
Mike is making a resurgence of late, finishing in the top 10 several times. I don't see any improvements in his game of late that would propel him past the top 8 though. Hopefully that will change.
