Last I had heard this tournament was going to be Oct. 17. So I bought airline tickets for a business trip and won't be back in time to play in the tournament on Oct. 24. :(

If the timing was just a couple days different I probably could have made it. Best of luck to all.

I'd also planned for it to be on the 17th. Can't make it on the 24th.

I'm Eric Rood and, luckily, you're not.

If Davis, Mark, Theon, and Eric can all make the 17th. We may consider changing it.

The other side of this coin is that John Song told me can't play on the 17th, but he can likely have a handful of new players if the tournament is on the 24th.

One way or another, the tourney should have a decent turn-out, and that's probably the most important thing.

I'm Eric Rood and, luckily, you're not.

I can make the 17th. Or 31st for that matter.

That's fine for me. I think Geoff and John Baldyga said that Sundays are better for them...they work for you though! :)

I could do that although Oct. 17th or 31st would be preferred.

I am actually booked solid until December, so thanks for the consideration though.

I still think last week should be counted as the illinois state.

Thanks to everyone for coming out and playing, by the way. I had a blast and it was good to get a chance to play some puck with you guys. I haven't had much time for air hockey anywhere lately.

In place of an Illinois State Tournament this year, I propose a tournament league that runs from November 13th - December 31st. Everyone who signs up and pays by November 13th plays everyone 1 set. You can schedule your sets with anyone any time before December 31st.

Entry Fees
$25 Master
$20 pro
$15 Expert
$10 Amature
$5 Novice/Beginner
